One of the things that pisses me off about religions are their reluctance to adapt and conform to the values of secular modern society. For no creed is this fact more apparent than Islam. Followers of Muhammadanism have made it abundantly clear that their archaic superstitions are more worthy of respect than the basic principles of a free society: namely freedom of speech and freedom of expression.
In the past, they’ve been able to intimidate more susceptible European nations into granting their religion a special exemption from any sort of criticism, and that this exemption from criticism gives them the right to make death threats and commit murder to silence critics. But this is America. And Muslim extremists don’t seem to grasp that in America, nothing is more sacred than freedom. And that’s why May 20 has been declared “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day.” It’s our way of letting those trigger-happy, death-threat-making followers of the world’s fastest-growing “religion of peace,” that some things about our culture are non-negotiable. And one of them is freedom of speech.
So I whipped these up using MS Paint in about twenty minutes. Pretty simple and direct. Send all death threats and notices of a fatwa to email@example.com.
