Apparently, US Representative Michele Bachmann (R-Minn) hasn’t heard of that pesky little section of the Constitution that prohibits tax dollars from being used to promote religion.
A Minnesota news source reports that she and her husband, Dr. Marcus Bachmann, were using state funds to run a Christian counseling center.
How much money did the taxpayers (non-Christians included) “donate” to this center? Close to $30,000.
as;dlfjyen!! Fucking assholes! You. Can’t. Do That. Taxes are not for Jesus! It’s not debatable! It’s not up for fucking discussion! Stop it, you idiots!
Wait. Maybe I’m overreacting. I mean, the guy is a doctor after all. Doctors are smart. It’s probably not that bad. I’m sure he’s intelligent enough to discern reality from woo-woo. Let’s check their website:
“Jesus as the Son of God is the Savior, Healer, and intimate Lover of my soul,” said one therapist on the clinic’s Web site. “He invites those He calls to join Him on a personal journey to the Cross. Our entire being is healed and restored (body, soul, and spirit) as we surrender ‘our way’ for ‘His way.’”
Yea, that doesn’t sound like religion at all…
I guess Jesus doesn’t think this center is important enough to fund with his own money. Which speaks volumes, since I’m quite sure the guy is loaded.
Minnesota ought to sue that bastard.
