This is Aqsa Parvez, a Muslim Canadian teenager from Mississauga, ON. Her father and brother were just convicted of strangling her to death for rebelling against her Pakistani family and refusing to conform to their strict Muslim rules.
She did “terrible” things like refuse to wear traditional Muslim clothing. What an infidel, right?
The father and brother plead guilty and await sentencing. She was 16.
On Dec. 10, 2007, Aqsa was taken from the school bus stop by her brother at approximately 7:20 a.m. It was just 36 minutes later that her father called 911 and told police he had “killed his daughter.”
Police arrived and found Aqsa on her bed, fully clothed with no vital signs. She was later pronounced dead.
Peel Regional Police took Muhammad Parvez into custody and charged him with murder. But it was Waqas Parvez who actually killed Aqsa by strangulation, according to the statement of facts.
So, Canadians. Still think allowing Sharia courts in your country is a good idea?
